Mets offering Amazin' sales with Blue Friday promotion

The Mets will be starting their holiday sale before the turkey gets cold. The team will stage its Blue Friday promotion at the Mets Team Store and on products at the team shop on mets.com.

The Mets Team Store will be offering a sale of 35 percent off regularly priced merchandise from 8-10 a.m. ET on Friday morning, and season-ticket holders will get a 40-percent discount. For the rest of the day -- from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- fans will get a 25-percent discount on merchandise at the store.

Select items at the Mets Team Store will be marked down all the way to a 75-percent discount.

But you don't necessarily have to leave your house to take part in Blue Friday. Beginning at 6 a.m., all purchases at the online Mets Shop will get a 20-percent discount, and orders between $50 and $99 will get a 25-percent discount. Purchases over $99 will get a 30-percent discount.

And if you're able to get to the Mets Team Store -- located just off the Jackie Robinson Rotunda at Citi Field -- Saturday, you'll have the chance to take holiday photos with Mr. Met from noon to 2:30 p.m.
