Mets to host annual blood drive on Thursday

NEW YORK -- The Mets will host their annual winter blood drive on Thursday at Citi Field from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. Fans who donate blood will receive a voucher redeemable for a pair of tickets to a select game in April.

Donors can also show their voucher at the Citi Field Mets team store on Thursday to receive 15 percent off regularly priced merchandise; season-ticket holders with valid IDs can receive a 20 percent discount. Mr. Met will be available for photos at 12 p.m.

Fans can park in Lot G on 126th Street between the right-field gate and Roosevelt Avenue to access the Caesars Club, where the blood drive will take place.

The drive is held in partnership with the New York Blood Center, one of the largest community-based, non-profit blood-collection and -distribution organizations in the U.S. For more information, visit mets.com/blooddrive.
