Michael Cuddyer: Father of Twins

We here at the MLB Fan Cave extend many congratulations to free agent outfielder Michael Cuddyer and his wife. On Tuesday, Cuddyer's wife gave birth to twins, Chloe and Madeline. The veteran slugger took to Twitter to make the announcement, posting a TwitPic with his daughters.

Tuesday certainly marked a big day for Cuddyer, who will likely make a decision about his baseball future in the coming days. His recent employer, the Minnesota Twins, just made him a three-year offer at the Winter Meetings, and the Philadelphia Phillies have also expressed interest in his services this offseason. For now, though, welcoming two daughters into the world is surely the most important acquisition news in the Cuddyer household.
