About Young The Giant:

Young the Giant is a band that has meticulously written and crafted songs together for three years, lived out of shared bedrooms and messy suitcases for two years, and hopped on and off of planes, buses, vans, cars and their beloved bicycles for over one full year, having played more than 160 shows in the past 365 days on 3 different continents. It’s been an amazing year so far for Young The Giant who recently concluded their 46-date sold out headline tour playing to over 70,000 people across North America. The band has swept the country with their electrifying live shows which has garnered praise from coast to coast. Rolling Stone called lead singer, Sameer Gadhia “Bono-rific” while Time Out New York said, “The outfit's breezy melodies and hooky guitar riffs will make you want to alternate between blissful dancing and crowd-surfing…”

To date, the band has received innumerable "Band To Watch" accolades from outlets like The New York Times, Spin and Nylon to name a few, and were selected by MTV to perform at the 2011 Video Music Awards and MTV Unplugged. Young The Giant recently made their first appearance on early morning television when they performed “Cough Syrup” and “Apartment” on the Today Show May 22, 2012. Their hit single “Cough Syrup” was featured in the opening scene of the winter finale of GLEE episode 314 entitled “On My Way” February 21 on FOX. Young The Giant’s first single, “My Body,” peaked at #4 on the alternative chart while their second single, “Cough Syrup,” reached #2 on the alternative chart; “Apartment,” Young The Giant’s third also made an impact at radio.
