Nationals release 2015 Spring Training schedule

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals are entering their 10th season since moving to the D.C. area, and on Wednesday the team released their 30-game Spring Training schedule for the 2015 season.

The schedule includes 14 home games at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Fla. The home opener is March 5 against the Mets. The Nationals' roster will include Bryce Harper, Jayson Werth, Denard Span and Ryan Zimmerman, who will be playing first base on a full-time basis.

Washington's Grapefruit League schedule includes a pair of visits from the Cardinals (March 7 and March 27) and Tigers (March 11 and March 19). The Yankees will make the trip across the state to Viera on March 23.

Nationals fans making the trek to Viera should note the Nationals host six games over the first 10 days of the spring at Space Coast Stadium from March 5-14 and will play host to home games on three of the four possible Saturdays throughout Spring Training. The Nationals will play split-squad games on March 14 (vs. the Marlins and at the Mets) and March 21 (vs. the Marlins and at the Braves).

Spring Training season packages, which include all 14 home games, will be available beginning on Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. ET online at nationals.com/spring.

The Nationals' 2015 Spring Training schedule will conclude on April 4 with an exhibition game against the Yankees at Nationals Park.

This will mark the Yankees' third trip to Nationals Park, including a previous exhibition contest in 2013 and regular-season games in 2006 and 2012.

New York will return to D.C. for two regular-season games on May 19-20. The Nationals will then travel to Yankee Stadium for two games on June 9-10.

Tickets for the April 4 exhibition game are included in all 2015 regular-season full, half and partial-season ticket packages. For more information, or to purchase a NATS PLUS membership, visit nationals.com/2015. Information on single-game tickets for this game will be disseminated at a later date.

Beginning Jan. 12, three- and six-game Flex Plans will be available exclusively at nationals.com/spring.

Individual-game tickets for all Nationals spring contests at Space Coast Stadium will be available beginning Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Space Coast Stadium box office or by visiting nationals.com/spring.
