A's reportedly win arbitration case with Parker

The A's have won their arbitration case against Jarrod Parker, with the right-hander set to make $850,000 this season, according to CBS Sports.

Parker, who missed all of 2014 because of Tommy John surgery, filed for $1.7 million.

The 26-year-old Parker was 12-8 with a 3.97 ERA in 32 starts in 2013. He is 25-16 with a 3.73 ERA in two seasons with the A's since being acquired from Arizona in December 2011.

Parker likely won't be ready to join Oakland's rotation out of Spring Training, but should be able to take the mound at some point in 2015.
