Oakland Options RHP Evan Scribner to Triple-A Sacramento

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland Athletics announced today that they have optioned right-handed pitcher Evan Scribner to their Triple-A affiliate in Sacramento. 

Scribner, who was recalled from Sacramento Aug. 3 for his third stint with the A's this season, appeared in only one game since his most recent call-up, pitching one scoreless inning with one strikeout against Texas in Sunday's 4-0 loss in Oakland.   For the season, Scribner has registered a 0-0 record and 5.03 ERA over 13 relief appearances and 19.2 innings for the A's.
