Ole Miss Rain Delay Dancing Video

I would have made an outstanding college baseball player. Not because I can hit, because I can’t. And not because I can pitch, I can’t do that either. Because I’m a defensive specialist? Nope, I can’t even work a gardening glove. I would make an outstanding college baseball player because I enjoy dancing in the rain.

“Umm, what?” you probably just wondered aloud. In case you didn’t know, rain delays in college baseball often turn into entertaining scenes of “Can you top this?” moments between the two opposing teams. And believe me, pretty much anything goes. The tarp is there to slide on, the dugout is there to dance on, and the fans are there to enjoy every second. Nobody is concerned about the players horsing around because there are no seven-figure guaranteed contracts to be lost. It’s simply just big kids playing a game.

Case in point in this recent rain-delayed game between Southern Miss and Ole Miss, spoiler alert, Mississippi. You want guys drowning on a tarp only to be saved by ball-bag wielding lifeguards? These dudes will do it for you. I would love for you to share your favorite baseball rain delay videos and stories with me. Just Tweet me @RickyMast! Now go enjoy this video. I have to run because I’m late for tango practice with Ricardo Marquez.
