Orioles Announce Final Two Player-Designed T-Shirt Giveaways

The Orioles today announced that MANNY MACHADO and JONATHAN SCHOOP (August 19), as well as MIGUEL GONZALEZ (September 30) will be featured in this season's Player-Designed T-Shirt Series. The series has highlighted six different Orioles players, featuring personalized graphics and themes created by the players themselves.

On August 19, when the Orioles host the New York Mets at 7:05 p.m., all fans will receive a "Handshake" t-shirt designed by Orioles infielders MANNY MACHADO and JONATHAN SCHOOP. The design captures a step-by-step snapshot of the duo's elaborate handshake ritual.

The final installment of the five-part series will highlight the heritage and musical talent of Orioles right-handed pitcher MIGUEL GONZALEZ. The "El Mariachi" t-shirt will be given away to all fans on September 30 when the Orioles host the Toronto Blue Jays at 7:05 p.m. The t-shirt features Gonzalez singing and playing mariachi music with the Oriole Bird accompanying him on the trumpet. A talented mariachi performer, Gonzalez designed the t-shirt to celebrate his roots as a native of Guadalajara, Mexico.
