O's gearing up for eventful Social Media Night

BALTIMORE -- The Orioles will host their second Social Media Night this season on Tuesday at Oriole Park, prior to the 7:05 p.m. ET game against the New York Mets.

All-Star closer Zach Britton (@zbritton), who designed exclusive T-shirts that will be given to those in attendance, will take part in a question-and-answer session along with MLB.com beat reporter Brittany Ghiroli (@Britt_Ghiroli). The pregame party will be on the center-field Roof Deck and will be hosted by Orioles PA Ryan Wagner.

Tickets for the Birdland Social pregame party range from $30 to $60 and include access to the party, a catered menu, two drink coupons per person, a ticket to the game (Roof Deck, Eutaw Street Bleachers or Upper Reserve with varied pricing), and the exclusive @zbritton T-shirt. The party will begin at 5:05 ET and continue until 6:30. A limited number of tickets are available at www.orioles.com/birdlandsocial.

Social Media Night will continue with numerous promotions and prizes for all fans attending the game, including:

Catch a #Winner: The "Catch a #Winner" promotion will occur during pregame batting practice. Fans who retrieve baseballs that have been stamped "#Winner" can redeem a special prize at the Orioles Fan Assistance booth.

Player Selfies: Several lucky fans will have an opportunity to snap selfies with an Orioles player.

#BringMeFood: Fans who tweet using #BringMeFood will be eligible to receive complimentary food delivered to their seats during the game just by tweeting the hashtag along with their desired menu item and their seat location.

Additional promotions will take place throughout the night both for fans in attendance and those following at home. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the Orioles' social-media accounts for details, announcements and exclusive clues.
