Padres announce schedule for Spring Training

SAN DIEGO -- The Padres announced their Spring Training schedule on Friday, with three games to be played at Petco Park at the end of their exhibition schedule.

The Padres will face the Mariners in the annual charity game in Peoria, Ariz., on Feb. 27. The team will play 32 exhibition games, including three at Petco Park from March 27-29.

The opponents for those games have yet to be officially announced, though the Indians released their schedule on Friday as well, with dates against the Padres in San Diego on March 28-29.

Pitchers and catchers will report to the team's facility in Peoria on Feb. 12, with the first workout set for the following day.

Position players are scheduled to report on Feb. 18, with the first full-squad workout set for the following day.

All of the Padres' home games during Spring Training will again be played at the Peoria Sports Complex, which they share with the Mariners.

The Padres will announce their broadcast schedule at a later date.

They will open the 2014 regular season at home against the Dodgers on March 31.

Tickets for all Padres game at the Peoria Sports Complex will go on sale on Jan. 4 at 8 a.m. PT. Tickets may be purchased online at padres.com/spring, by phone (800-677-1227) or in person at the Peoria Sports Complex box office. Individual games tickets are priced from $7 to $28.
