Phillies Charities, Inc. to Honor Community Heroes on Monday, December 14

Community heroes will take center stage on Monday, December 14, at a very special Phillies Charities, Inc. Holiday Giving Party at Citizens Bank Park.

The event will salute dozens of local charities and organizations making an impact in the community, and also recognize those who were selected to receive a 2015 Phillies Charities, Inc. grant. This past year alone, nearly $2 million was awarded by Phillies Charities, Inc. to charitable organizations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and near the Phillies spring training and minor league affiliates.

"There are many charitable organizations providing vital services to individuals and families in need," said Lyn Montgomery, President, Phillies Charities, Inc. "It is our hope that the Phillies Charities grants will enhance the efforts of these outstanding charities in assisting the underserved in our community."
