Phillies have had plenty of brotherly love

Nine pair of brothers have worn a Phillies uniform in the long history of the ball club.

Of the 18 players, only three had lengthy and productive careers with the Phillies: Hall-of-Fame outfielder Ed Delahanty (13 seasons), infielder Granny Hamner (16 seasons) and center fielder Roy Thomas (12 seasons). Unfortunately, their brothers had careers that totaled 116 games.

The least productive were the Westlake brothers: four strikeouts in five at-bats. Only two, the Bennett and Roy brothers, were pitchers.
