Phillies Host Make-a-Wish Meet & Greet for Three Local Children

Before Tuesday’s game against the Washington Nationals, three local children living with critical illness made a special trip to the ballpark to have their wish fulfilled of meeting the Phillies, thanks to Make-a-Wish New Jersey and Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley chapters.

Each of the kids – Damon, 11, Gilbertsville, PA; Shay, 19, Belle Mead, NJ; and McKenna, 18, Moorestown, NJ – had the chance to meet with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber and Bryson Stott during pregame batting practice. Afterwards, they all took part in a behind-the-scenes PhanaVision experience, and cheered on the Phils at the game.
