“Phillies Rally Trolley” to Rev Up City for Season Opener on Thursday

Fans should be on the lookout Thursday, April 5, for the Phillies Rally Trolley, as it travels through Center City in anticipation of the season opener.

The Opening Day pregame event will take place from noon – 1:00 p.m., just prior to the first official game of the season when the Phillies take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at 1:35 p.m.

On board the 33-foot “Go Phillies” trolley will be plenty of fun as special trolley guests rev up lunchtime crowds.

Among those along for the ride will be the Red Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls, Scott Palmer, Director of Public Affairs, and Citizens Bank Ballpark Bankers. Also in attendance will be Chris Stigall and Paige Powers from Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Philadelphia.

Several thousand rally towels, Go Phillies Cheer Cards and red beads will be given out along the Center City start-of-the-season trolley tour, held in partnership with Citizens Bank, The New Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, SportsRadio 94 WIP, 98.1 WOGL and KYW Newsradio.
