**Pitcher:
RHS Jonathan Pettibone, Reading. 1-0 for 2 starts, 14 innings, 7 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned, 4 walks and 15 strikeouts. Win was his third in a row. Over last 10 starts, 6-2, 2.84 ERA. For the season, 15 starts, 7-5, 3.27. ERA by the month: April (4.33), May (3.63), June (1.67). The 21-year-old was selected by the Phillies between the 3rd and 4th rounds in 2008 out of Esperanza High School (CA) and signed by Darrell Conner. The 6-6 RH was also named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week and the same honor by MiLB.com.

**Player: 3B Mitch Walding, Williamsport. First week of pro ball, .379 in 7 games, organization-high 11 hits that included 2 doubles and 1st home run. Drove in an organization-high 10 runs, 4 on Wednesday and 6 on Friday. The 19-year-old left-handed hitter was drafted in the fifth round in 2011 out of St. Mary's High School (CA) and signed by Joey Davis. A shortstop in high school, Walding has been moved to third base.
