"Moe's Pirate Parrot Sidekick" program to take place throughout the 2015 regular season

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced a special program in partnership with Moe's Southwest Grill allowing young Pirates fans the opportunity to join the team's mascot, the Pirate Parrot, on the field during home games throughout the season.

The "Moe's Pirate Parrot Sidekick" promotion offers winners a chance to hang out with the Parrot and participate in the mascot's pregame on-field hijinks. The contest begins today, Monday March 30, 2015 and entries will be accepted through Sunday, May 17, 2015 and is open to all kids from the ages six to 14 years old. Parents may enter their child to win at any of the six participating Moe's Southwest Grill greater Pittsburgh area locations.

Prior to each home game at PNC Park, the Pirate Parrot entertains fans from the field with fun and engaging games and activities. Each winner of the "Moe's Pirate Parrot Sidekick" will have the opportunity to assist the Parrot during his time on the field and join in on the fun.

One winner will be chosen for each regular season game (81 total) to be guests of the Pirates and Moe's at PNC Park. Each winner will receive four tickets for the participant and their family and a great Moe's prize pack. The on-field experiences will take place before each home game throughout the 2015 season.

Included in the partnership, Moe's will receive signage around PNC Park, in-game promotions and radio inventory on the Pirates Radio Network broadcasts. The Pirates Radio Network consists of 40 stations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland.
