Pirates Homestand Highlights Monday, August 25 through Sunday, August 31, 2014

The Pirates return to PNC Park for a six-game homestand as they play host to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds. This homestand will be highlighted by Social Media Night on Tuesday, August 26; a postgame Fan Jam with Gavin DeGraw on Saturday, August 30 and Kids Day on Sunday, August 31.

• Social Media Night: Tonight is a special Social Media Night at PNC Park that includes a pregame meet up, games, prizes and more. All fans with a social media ticket will receive exclusive access to the Social Media Lounge inside the Clemente Wall where they can hang out for the entire game. Tickets are $34 and include $10 in loaded value, a #RaiseIt tee, a ticket in section 142 and access to our pregame party and lounge. • Pirates Wives: Members of the Pirates Wives group will visit the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh (300 Wood Street/Pittsburgh, PA 15222) from 11 a.m. to noon to help stuff emergency kits for women and children leaving violent situations. The Pirates will contribute toiletries and game tickets to future Pirates games to be included in the kits.

• Meet the Shark: Pirates closer Mark Melancon will meet with fans and sign autographs today from noon to 1 p.m. at the South Fayette Giant Eagle (3239 Washington Pike/ Bridgeville, PA 15017).

• Pups in the Park: Fans tonight with special ticket will enjoy Bucco baseball with their pooch as the Pirates present Pup Nights at PNC Park. Each ticket package (1 person & 1 dog) was available for the evening with additional human tickets available as well. A portion of the proceeds from Pirates Pup Nights benefit local animal shelters.

Wednesday, August 27, 2014 - Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (12:35 p.m.)
• Traveling Bases: During today's game for three innings the Pirates will participate in the special MLB and MLB Authentics initiative and use the special "Set of Traveling Bases." The bases are making their way around the league as each team will use these bases for one game throughout the season and they will then be auctioned for charity following the 2014 World Series. • Lunch with the Bucs: Need to get out of the office? Do Lunch with the Bucs, sponsored by Trib Total Media.

invitational at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Participants of the event have the unique opportunity to spend the day with current and former Pirates players, broadcasters and front office executives while supporting the many and varied efforts of Pirates Charities.

• Friday Block Party: Tonight is another Friday Block Party on Federal Street. Fans will enjoy live music, featuring Radio Tokyo, and can party on the street with food and beer sales. The Pirates popular dynamic pricing system is back in 2014 and includes both the Bleacher Reserve and Upper Bleacher Reserve sections of PNC Park.
