Rays and Jabil Circuit Inc. announce partnership

The Tampa Bay Rays and Jabil Circuit Inc. have agreed to a sponsorship affiliation, which includes partnering with the team's South St. Petersburg Impact initiatives.

"We couldn't be more pleased to connect with Jabil?a company that has been an enduring symbol of success in the Tampa Bay community," said Rays Senior Vice President Mark Fernandez. "The real winners in this agreement are the kids in South St. Pete. Jabil's support of these community programs is critical to their success."

Jabil will donate $500 to the Rays Baseball Foundation for the Rays first base hit of every regular season game as part of the Hits For Kids program, which will benefit the Rays South St. Petersburg Impact Initiatives, specifically the Campbell Park Walking School Bus. The Campbell Park Walking School Bus will provide Campbell Park Elementary students in neighboring areas the opportunity to join a safe, supervised walking group from their homes to the school each day.

"We are delighted to be able to participate with the Tampa Bay Rays on this great initiative to assist kids and look forward to witnessing the benefits of the program to St. Petersburg," said Bill Peters, Jabil Executive Vice President. "Around the world, Jabil participates in hundreds of local programs that benefit children, but naturally this one is particularly nice for those of us who make our homes in the Tampa Bay community."
