Rays to activate Moore, option Krauss

Left-hander set to make first start in 14 months on Thursday vs. Indians

ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays will activate Matt Moore from the 60-day disabled list before Thursday's series finale against the Indians, and option first baseman Marc Krauss to Triple-A Durham.

The Rays made the announcement following Wednesday night's 8-1 loss to the Indians.

Moore is slated to make his 2015 season debut on Thursday as he returns from Tommy John surgery. The left-hander will have seen 451 days pass since his last start, April 7, 2014 at Kansas City.

Since being acquired from the Angels in a June 25 trade, Krauss has gone 1-for-10 with seven strikeouts in four games for the Rays.
