Red Sox to visit veterans hospitals and homes on Wednesday, November 11

To recognize Veterans Day and honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, Fenway Ambassadors, alumnus Jim Corsi, and Wally the Green Monster will visit Veterans Hospitals, homeless shelters, and nursing home facilities tomorrow, Wednesday, November 11.

Additionally, free tours of Fenway Park will be offered to all servicemen and women on Veterans Day.

From 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., the Red Sox will visit Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (Bedford VA) located at 200 Springs Road in Bedford, MA. Later, from 12:20 to 1:45 p.m., the Red Sox will visit the New England Center for Homeless Veterans in Boston, located at 17 Court Street.  

The Red Sox will end the day with a visit to the Soldiers' Home in Chelsea, a nursing home and healthcare facility for veterans, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. The Soldier's Home is located at 91 Crest Avenue.
