KANSAS CITY -- The same coaching staff that helped manager Ned Yost put the Royals into the World Series is set to return for the 2015 season.

The seven-man staff consists of bench coach Don Wakamatsu, pitching coaching Dave Eiland, hitting coach Dale Sveum, catching coach Pedro Grifol, bullpen coach Doug Henry, infield/third-base coach Mike Jirschele and outfield/first-base coach Rusty Kuntz.

"It was important to maintain that continuity," said general manager Dayton Moore.

Henry, Jirschele and Kuntz were not yet under contract for 2015, and all three agreed to return, Moore said.
