Omaha Storm Chasers (26-27)

The Storm Chasers traveled to El Paso for the first time in franchise history, dropping a 7-4 decision. Both teams scored three runs in the first, with Brett Eibner hitting a two-run homer for Omaha. Whit Merrifield went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs. Reymond Fuentes added three hits, including an RBI triple in the ninth.

NW Arkansas Naturals (31-18)

Corpus Christi 6, NW Arkansas 1

HR: Jorge Bonifacio (8)

The Naturals were no-hit until the seventh inning in an opening loss at Corpus Christi. Jorge Bonifacio broke up the no-hit bid with a one-out homer off of Vincent Velasquez, who also walked two batters over 7.0 innings. Bonifacio has eight home runs on the year after hitting four all of last year. Miguel Almonte pitched 4.0 innings for Northwest Arkansas, allowing four runs, seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (29-23)

Wilmington 6, Carolina 5

Wilmington wrapped up a nine-game road trip with a win at Carolina. Logan Moon's two-run triple gave Wilmington the lead as part of a five-run fourth inning. The Blue Springs native had three hits on the night. Yender Caramo earned a relief win, scattering two runs and six hits over 4.0 innings. He fanned three without issuing a walk. The Blue Rocks are off tonight before hosting Frederick (Orioles) on Thursday.

Lexington Legends (22-30)

Lexington 10, Rome 2

Lexington posted 16 hits to even the series at a game apiece. Ryan O'Hearn had four hits and two RBI. Elier Hernandez finished 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs. 2012 first-round pick Kyle Zimmer made his second appearance as he works his way back from an injury. Zimmer earned the win, fanning five over 2.0 scoreless innings. Colin Rodgers posted 5.0 shutout frames for the save.
