— TBO.com (@TBOcom) February 11, 2014The Rays acquired catcher Ryan Hanigan this offseason, and Hanigan's dog Vivian acquired a blue ribbon at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Vivian, a three-year-old Australian shepherd, beat out 43 other pups for the Best in Breed ribbon.
It's been a busy offseason for baseball dogs. Domonic Brown's pit bull Tyga was in the Puppy Bowl, and Rookie became the Trenton Thunder's new "bat dog."
