Giants hold raffle to award fan World Series ring
Entries benefit Community Fund; winner to be announced June 23
SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants' World Champions Ring Raffle is in full swing, giving fans a chance to win a World Series ring while helping charity.
Raffle tickets and information are available online at sfgiants.com/ringraffle. The minimum purchase is $10. The online raffle will conclude June 21 at 8:59 p.m. PT. The winner will be announced during the broadcast of the Giants-Padres game June 23.
Funds raised from the ring raffle, conducted by Celebrities for Charity, will directly benefit the Giants Community Fund. The Fund is a nonprofit organization that collaborates with the Giants to use baseball as a forum to encourage underserved youth and their families to live healthy, productive lives.
Also benefiting from the raffle will be the Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund that offers free, non-competitive baseball for more than 22,000 youths in 176 underserved communities across California, Nevada and Oregon.
