Angels name Radinsky bullpen coach

The Angels finalized their coaching staff for the 2016 season on Wednesday, naming Scott Radinsky as bullpen coach.

Radinsky, 47, is a former big league pitcher who spent the past three years as a Minor League pitching coach for the Dodgers. Prior to joining the Dodgers, Radinsky spent eight years with the Indians, including three seasons on the Major League staff as bullpen coach (2010-11) and pitching coach (2012).

Steve Soliz was the Angels' bullpen coach for the past five seasons, but he has a new role as catching and information coach.

Radinsky, a native of Glendale, Calif., played 11 seasons in the Majors (1990-93 and 1995-2001), pitching for the White Sox, Dodgers, Cardinals and Indians. He compiled a 42-25 career record with 52 saves and a 3.44 ERA over 557 relief appearances.
