Shane Victorino undergoes successful back surgery

BOSTON, MA - Red Sox right fielder Shane Victorino today underwent successful lumbar disectomy surgery. 
 
The procedure was performed by Dr. Robert Watkins at Marina Del Rey Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
 
Victorino is expected to be ready to participate in Red Sox Spring Training next year.
