Sk Wyverns accept bid for negotiating rights to Kwang Hyun Kim

The SK Wyverns of the Korea Baseball Organization have informed Major League Baseball that they have accepted the highest bid for the negotiating rights to 26-year-old left-handed pitcher Kwang Hyun Kim, it was announced this morning. The highest bid in the posting process was submitted by the San Diego Padres.

The Padres now have a period of 30 consecutive days to sign Kim to a Major or Minor League professional contract.
