Summer Friday Fan Festivals presented by Bacardi set to begin at Rogers Centre
The Blue Jays will host five Summer Friday Fan Festivals presented by Bacardi beginning tonight, Friday, July 5th outside of Gates 10 and 11.
The Friday Fan Festival is a licensed event open to all fans with tickets to the game that evening. Starting at 4:30pm and concluding at game time, ticket holders will be able to enter the Friday Fan Festival prior to entering Rogers Centre for the 7:07pm game. This outdoor festival will feature live music, special guests, interactive games and activities. Each week of the festival, fans will have the chance to win great prizes and one lucky fan will win the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch that evening. Each Friday Fan Festival will feature a player appearance and Blue Jays representatives will be on hand to distribute Blue Jays prize packs and team merchandise.
Live music featuring Stone the Radio and MC Mike Harding will enhance the festive atmosphere tonight which includes a Bacardi Cabana featuring popular Bacardi products. Activities include the Fastest Pitch Radar Cage and Giant Jenga area that promises to make the event a fantastic way to kick-off the weekend.The following four Summer Friday Fan Festivals, presented by Bacardi will take place on July 19 vs. Tampa Bay, July 26 vs. Houston, August 9 vs. Oakland, and August 30 vs. Kansas City. All ticket holders are welcome to join the festivities as the festival will run from 4:30-7:00pm with access to the 100 concourse at 4:30 as well.
