Swing into summer safety with the Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are proud to partner on the 4th annual "Swing into Summer Safety" campaign, organized by the Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council to bring awareness to fire safety. This campaign aims to educate children with safety tips through the distribution of baseball cards featuring the 2014 Blue Jays players and coaches. Today, the Toronto Blue Jays will host the Minnesota Twins for Swing into Summer Safety Day Presented by Allstate. The first 25,000 fans to enter Rogers Centre will receive a free set of Toronto Blue Jays fire safety cards.
Camp Bucko (Burn Camp for Kids in Ontario) will be guests of the Club and Jays Care Foundation in the Jays Care Community Clubhouse.

The educational campaign will continue throughout the summer as pitcher Steve Delabar will visit a local Fire Hall to assist in distributing sets of baseball cards to children along with Toronto Firefighters. The Fire Hall event will take place on Tuesday August 26th from 11am to 2pm at 895 Eastern Avenue at the Toronto Fire Training Academy. An additional 100,000 sets of cards in total will be available at over 200 participating fire departments across the province, with PSA messages featuring Delabar to assist in their educational efforts.
