The Majesty of the Dodger Dog

There are some things in this life that are so majestic that people marvel when experiencing their beauty and bask in the glory of their existence. When these things are gone, you wallow in despair questioning your purpose in a world where you’ll never be able to measure up to the epicness that has already been achieved.

Such is the case with the Dodger Dog.

Eating a Hot Dog at a ball game is as intrinsic to baseball as the called third strike. Often imitated (see: Halo Dog, Fenway Frank) yet never matched, the Dodger Dog is a staple of any Dodger Stadium experience. This 10-inch masterpiece has become so hugely popular that foreign dignitaries will come to Los Angeles just to chow down on one. Selling around two million dogs a season, the Dodger Dog leads all of Major League Baseball stadiums in sales and has set a record in smiles produced. It’s so successful that it has spawned a hot dog themed chain of restaurants in Los Angeles and has been know to give people who consume them spiritual enlightenment. If you’re ever in Los Angeles, go to a Dodgers game and eat one. You’ll wake up the next day with a better grasp on where you want your life to go.
