The Most Unique MLB Ballpark Foods

With 30 stadiums around the Majors, you're bound to run into some intimidating food options while walking through the concourse.

We haven't gotten out to any live games yet this season, but we have had some ballpark fare brought our way.

The Texas Rangers were kind enough to send us their oversized options, the "Boomstick," the "Beltre Buster" and the "Murphadilla," and ARAMARK Sports brought in some of the options that will be offered during the All-Star Game events at Citi Field.

Here are some other unique menu items MLB teams have to offer:

Freddy Fender (Minute Maid Park) - They had me at the pretzel bun. The chorizo sausage wrapped in a paprika corn tortilla and topped with tequila-braised onions, Cotija cheese and cilantro sour cream are just a bonus.

Halo Dog (Angels Stadium) - A beef hot dog wrapped in bacon and topped with charro beans, Anaheim peppers, and shredded Monterey Jack. The bacon is the trump card here.

Sausage Sundae (Rangers Ballpark) - Just looking at this puts me in a food coma. Peppery sausage links on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and chopped brisket, topped with a parsley and pepper garnish. I'd like to shake the hand of the man who came up with this.

Mama's Special (Citi Field) - A classic Italian hero with Genoa salami, pepper ham and mozzarella on a semolina loaf. You can throw on some roasted peppers and marinated mushrooms for good measure.

The Hammer (Turner Field) - In between a pair of waffles you get fried chicken, bacon, cheese and onions. It will probably take 755 trips around the bases to work off those calories. Worth it.
