The Royals Charities Legacy Brick Program returns

Fans Can Purchase Bricks with Special 2014 AL Champions Logo

The Kansas City Royals and Royals Charities announced today that the Legacy Brick Program has returned for a limited time.

In celebration of the 2014 American League Champion Season, Royals Charities has reopened the brick program to fans who want to leave a permanent mark at the stadium. Each brick will be installed in the front walkway of Gate C at Kauffman Stadium located next to the bricks that were installed following the 2012 season.

"We are so excited to offer the Legacy Brick Program again to fans who want to remember the magical 2014 American League Championship season," said Marie Dispenza, Director of Royals Charities. "The bricks give fans a permanent way to be a part of Kauffman Stadium and Royals history while supporting the team's charitable foundation, Royals Charities."

Bricks, limited-edition packages and display cases are all available for purchase. Two sizes of bricks are available (4x8 inches and 8x8 inches). The larger brick can feature one of two logos, including a limited-edition 2014 American League Champions logo (photos attached). Fans can also purchase a package that includes a replica made of the same material and contains the same inscription as the installed brick. Limited-edition display cases containing the American League Champion logo can also be purchased within the package or separately.

To order, fans can go to www.royals.com/bricks and pick from several options. A portion of the proceeds from the Royals Charities Legacy Brick program support Royals Charities. Installation of the new brick phase will take place prior to Opening Day, 2016. Once installed, fans will receive a map to help locate their brick.
