Tigers host Career Day program this Friday at Comerica Park
Pre-game workshop features professional sports speakers
DETROIT - Prior to Friday's game vs. the Chicago White Sox at 1:08 p.m., more than 2,500 students from local schools will participate in Career Day, the first installment of the Tigers' annual "Class Outside Series" of events. The pre-game workshop will focus on careers in professional sports including media relations, marketing, sponsorship, broadcasting, stadium operations, and sales. There's a diverse line-up of featured speakers who will share their real life, day-to-day experiences working in professional sports.

Career Day tickets are still available for purchase and include early entry into Comerica Park for Friday's educational event.
