Tim Hudson medical update

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Tim Hudson underwent surgery today to repair a fractured fibula and the deltoid ligament in his right ankle. The procedure was performed by Dr. Marvin Royster in Atlanta, Ga.

Hudson is expected to begin baseball activities in approximately four months.
