Washington Nationals announce 2014 Fan Choice Bobblehead Vote
Fans can cast their ballots for Tyler Clippard, Adam LaRoche and Matt Williams throughout this week
Beginning today, Washington Nationals fans will have the opportunity to help select the sixth uniformed bobblehead of the upcoming season, presented by PNC Bank. The Fan Choice Bobblehead Vote will run all week long, allowing fans to choose between pitcher Tyler Clippard, first baseman Adam LaRoche or manager Matt Williams for the final bobblehead of the 2014 promotional schedule.
Nationals fans can vote for their favorite team member three different ways:
- Text 9 for Williams, 25 for LaRoche or 36 for Clippard to 99778 (message and data rates may apply)
- Tweet #NatsBobbleVote AND #ClippardBobble, #LaRocheBobble or #WilliamsBobble
- "Like" the photo of your choice on the Nationals Facebook page at Facebook.com/nationals
As an added incentive, three lucky fans who vote will be randomly selected to receive assorted prize packages featuring the winning bobblehead, game tickets or an on-field batting practice viewing experience. Fans are encouraged to vote as often as possible starting today through Friday, February 28. The winning bobblehead will be announced on Monday, March 3 and be distributed to the first 25,000 fans when the Nationals face the Miami Marlins on Saturday, September 27. The winner will join previously announced 2014 uniformed bobbleheads presented by PNC Bank, including Jordan Zimmermann (April 27), Wilson Ramos (May 16), Bryce Harper (June 30), Denard Span (July 20) and Ian Desmond (August 21). In addition, fans will be able to take home the Racing President Bill bobblehead on August 17.
