White Sox, Blackhawks and Bulls reunite for charity at Third Annual Home Team Charity Run

Early registration for the race is now open until April 1; Runners who register early are eligible for discounted White Sox vs. Red Sox Tickets

Early registration is now open as the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls have returned to host the third annual "Home Team Charity Run" on Sunday, July 14, 2013.  A portion of the proceeds from the race will be divided equally among each team's charitable arm - Chicago White Sox Charities, Chicago Blackhawks Charities and Chicago Bulls Charities.

The Home Team Charity Run, which includes both a 5k and 10K, will start and finish at U.S. Cellular Field.  Both courses will finish on the U.S. Cellular Field warning track, near home plate. The race map can be found on the Home Team Charity Run website (hometeamcharityrun.org).

A post-run festival will take place on the 100-level concourse inside U.S. Cellular Field. Runners and guests can enjoy food and beverages, as well as a live performance from The Lovehammers.

Twenty-five percent of all registration fees will benefit the charities of the participating home teams. The total raised from the race will be divided equally among all three participating teams' charities, including White Sox Charities, which provides annual financial support to hundreds of Chicago-based organizations, including those leading the fight against cancer, dedicated to improving the lives of Chicago's youth through education and athletics, and supporting children and families in crisis.

Early registration is now open, and those who register prior to April 1 will receive $10 off select tickets for the Tuesday, May 21st game vs. the Boston Red Sox (there is no limit on the amount of tickets participants can purchase).  Visit hometeamcharityrun.org for further details, registration and information regarding the early registration special.
