White Sox new “giant slugger” to be featured in hot dog eating competition at u.s. cellular field today
WHAT:
The Chicago White and concessions and retail partner Delaware North Companies Sportservice have introduced the “Giant Slugger” – a one pound, two-foot-long hot dog – at U.S. Cellular Field for the month of July, which will be featured in a Fourth of July hot dog eating competition. The grand prize includes four suite tickets, a customized jersey and an autographed baseball. Fans looking to participate in the competition should tweet @WhiteSox, using the hashtag #GiantSlugger.
Created to serve as many as four people, the Giant Slugger is composed of Vienna Beef and topped with nacho cheese, chili, grilled onions, and jalapenos – served in a 22-inch potato bun. It is available at portable hot dog stands near sections 109 and 538.
