CHICAGO - Starting tomorrow, May 7, Chicago White Sox fans will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win a White Sox-themed 2014 Mazda3 i Touring hatchback, donated by CJ Wilson Mazda. All proceeds benefit Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC).

"The car raffle is a great way to engage fans, while also giving to a worthwhile cause," said Christine O'Reilly, executive director of Chicago White Sox Charities. "We are thankful to our generous fans, sponsors and friends, especially CJ Wilson Mazda for donating this special White Sox car. We cannot wait to give the keys away to a lucky fan in September."

Fans will be able to see the Sox-themed 2014 Mazda3 i Touring hatchback on display at U.S. Cellular Field throughout the season. The $10 raffle tickets will be on sale through September 5 at games, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket windows, CJ Wilson Mazda in Countryside, Illinois, and whitesox.com/soxcar. The winning raffle ticket will be selected on September 8.

Since its inception in 1990, CWSC has given nearly $21 million in charitable donations to various nonprofit and social service organizations, youth baseball initiatives and inner-city programs. Additionally, CWSC provides grants to a variety of organizations in the Chicagoland area that are committed to the fight against cancer, improving the lives of youth through education and athletics, assisting at-risk children and families and supporting health and wellness programs. In the past calendar year alone, CWSC donated $1.68 million to organizations in need.
