Worth noting

• A thick wall of ivy has scaled the batter's eye at Citizens Bank Park over the years, but fans might have noticed a big blank patch in the middle of the brick wall Friday. Well, it turns out Hurricane Sandy got hold of that section of ivy and took it down. The Phillies will wait for the ivy to grow back.

• Domonic Brown made his first Opening Day roster, and picked up hits in each of his first three games this season. But the special Opening Day nameplate above his locker at Citizens Bank Park was misspelled as "Dominic Brown."

Brown didn't mind. His name has been misspelled before, including the first couple of years in the Phillies' media guide when he was an upcoming prospect. Brown noticed it back then, but decided not to say anything. In other words, it's no big deal.
