On Wednesday, Giancarlo Stanton (right hamstring) is scheduled to take batting practice on the field. The slugger, on the 15-day DL since April 30, has been hitting in the cages and throwing. He has yet to begin running.

Joe Mahoney (right hamstring) began his rehab assignment with Class A Jupiter on Tuesday. Logan Morrison (right knee) was the designated hitter for the Hammerheads on Tuesday, and he is expected to play nine innings at first base on Wednesday.

Casey Kotchman (right hamstring) will begin extended spring games on Wednesday.
