Worth noting

• The Rangers' game with the Cardinals on Sunday, June 23, has been changed from 1:15 p.m. to 7:05 p.m. CT because it will air on ESPN.

• The Rangers have placed pitcher Victor Payano on the disabled list with a strained right calf muscle at Class-A Hickory. Payano, who is 4-3 with a 4.22 ERA in 10 starts, is expected to miss only one or two starts.

• Reliever Joakim Soria is expected to resume throwing off a mound this weekend in Surprise, Ariz. Soria is 14 months removed from Tommy John elbow surgery, but his comeback was delayed when he strained a muscle in his right shoulder. That has delayed his return until at least July.
