Worth noting

• Alberto Callaspo went 0-for-4 on Friday, ending a 12-game hitting streak.

"He just missed some pitches," Scioscia said. "You're not going to square up every pitch that you get. When he got a couple of pitches to hit, the contact wasn't there. But he's been hot for us."

Callaspo still has 8 RBIs in his last 12 games, with five multihit games in that stretch.

• The Angels are continuing with a four-man rotation until Tommy Hanson returns from a forearm injury. Hanson is currently on the 15-day disabled list.

With Monday' off-day, the Halos will use C.J. Wilson on Sunday, Jered Weaver on Tuesday and return to Jerome Williams for Wednesday's start.
