Worth noting

Brandon Guyer was presented with the 15th Al Lopez Award, given annually to the Rays' outstanding rookie in Spring Training, in a ceremony prior to Sunday's game. Al Lopez III made the presentation.

Guyer led the Rays with 22 games played this spring, batting .302 with a homer, three RBIs and five runs scored.

• Although David DeJesus said before the game that his bruised right foot felt fine and he was able to return to the outfield, he was in the Rays' lineup as the DH again Sunday. He will likely return to the outfield when the Rays play on grass on the upcoming road trip.
