Worth noting

• Outfielder Jabari Blash, who hit .262 with five home runs and 20 RBIs in his first 25 games with Double-A Jackson, was promoted to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday. The Rainiers also activated catcher Humberto Quintero off the disabled list and transferred catcher Manny Pina back to Jackson.

• An anti-bullying public service announcement featuring Hernandez, Grammy Award winner Macklemore and a group of students from Highland Middle School in Bellevue, Wash., was released on Wednesday. The PSA can be viewed at mariners.com/changethegame.

• When Young recorded the victory for Seattle on Tuesday night, it was his first Major League win in 604 days, going back to Sept. 2, 2012, when the 6-foot-10 right-hander was with the Mets. Young pitched in the Minors last year while dealing with shoulder problems.
