• Memphis ended a five-game losing streak on Sunday behind starter Scott McGregor, who earned his first Triple-A win. McGregor (1-5) allowed one run on five hits and a walk in six innings. Both Stephen Piscotty and Scott Moore contributed two-hit games. Outfield prospect Randal Grichuk drove in two.

• Monday's game against the Yankees marked the first of 20 Interleague contests the Cardinals will play this season. They are 135-120 since the introduction of Interleague Play; the only National League team with a better winning percentage is Atlanta.
