Accessibility

The Baltimore Orioles are dedicated to accommodating the needs of guests with disabilities or special needs along with their families and friends so that they may fully enjoy their visit to Ed Smith Stadium. Alcoholic Beverage Service

The sale of alcoholic beverages will conclude at the end of the 8th inning, or three hours after the scheduled first pitch, whichever comes first. All vendors require a valid state or government-issued ID for the purchase and consumption of alcohol within the park. There is a limit of two alcoholic beverages per person, per transaction with valid ID. The Orioles, as well as our vending and concessions partners, reserve the right to refuse sale/service of beverages to anyone who appears to be intoxicated or is without valid ID.

Animals

Service animals are the only animals permitted within the gates of Ed Smith Stadium.

Bags

Bags are prohibited at Ed Smith Stadium except:

  • Fanny pack or clutch purse no larger than 5ā€ x 7ā€
  • 1-gallon plastic freezer bag
  • Medically necessary items such as diaper bag

Those with medically necessary items such as diaper bags must enter through specified ADA entry gates. Those with bags 5ā€ x 7ā€ or smaller may enter through any gate. All bags are subject to search.

Banners/Signs

The Orioles welcome fan support in the form of handmade banners and signs. To ensure that all fans will have an unobstructed view of the ballgame, the Orioles do not permit the hanging or carrying of banners anywhere in the ballpark. Banners may be displayed before and after the game and between innings only. Banners are subject to confiscation if the content is commercial, political, and/or in bad taste according to the Orioles' discretion.

Box Office

The Ed Smith Stadium box office will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. until March 24, 2024.

Camera/Video Equipment

Guests are welcome to bring cameras and video recorders into the ballpark for personal use. However, any photographic equipment cannot be used to reproduce the game and must not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.

Cashless Stadium

Ed Smith Stadium is now a completely cashless ballpark. Methods of payment will be limited to Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Cash will not be accepted at ballpark parking lots, concession stands, or ticket windows.

For easy and contactless entry into the ballpark, please have your tickets ready on your mobile device in the MLB Ballpark app.

Equal Access Accommodations

Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available for those fans with a state issued handicapped license plate or hangtag and are available on a first come, first-served basis. Should these spaces be filled, attendants will direct fans to the nearest open parking.

Seating: Wheelchair accessible seats are located throughout the ballpark in all ticket categories. These seats may be purchased in advance by calling the Orioles at (941) 893-6312, by logging onto orioles.com/spring or by visiting the Ed Smith Stadium Box Office.

Elevators: Elevators are available behind home plate (near Section 112), in left field (behind Section 125), and in right field (behind Section 101).

Fan Assistance Centers

The Fan Assistance Center is located behind home plate (behind Section 112) and operates from the time the gates open until 15 minutes after the game ends. Here fans may obtain information, offer suggestions, and receive assistance with any situation that may occur during their visit to Ed Smith Stadium.

Fan Code of Conduct

Courteous behavior is expected of all fans. Any fan infringing on another fan's enjoyment of the game is subject to ejection from the ballpark. Our staff will intervene when necessary to support an environment where fans can enjoy the baseball experience free from the following behaviors: foul/ abusive language or obscene gestures; intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption; displays of affection not appropriate in a public setting; obscene or indecent clothing; any disruption to the progress of the game by a fan's action or unauthorized persons on the playing field; fans seated in a location other than their ticketed seat. If anyone is interfering in another fan's enjoyment of the game, they are encouraged to contact the nearest usher or visit our Fan Assistance Center.

Players are responsible for their own mail. It is highly recommended that if you would like a response, you include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. The organization cannot assume responsibility for lost items, misdirected articles, or unanswered questions.

First Aid

A First Aid Center is located behind home plate on the main level of the ballpark, behind Section 112. Paramedic units are on duty during each game. Band Aids and other similar items are available at the Center.

Food & Beverage

Guests can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into Ed Smith Stadium using the following guidelines. These guidelines are specific to Orioles Spring Training home games and do not apply to special events held at the ballpark (i.e. concerts, tours, corporate events, etc.). Items that do not meet these guidelines will not be allowed.

  • Guests may bring in food and non-alcoholic beverages, all of which must be contained in a clear, plastic bag no larger than one-gallon in size.
  • One (1) one-gallon size, sealable plastic bag is allowed per guest.
  • Food items should resemble individual portions and not bulk quantities.
  • Guests may bring in a factory-sealed, plastic, non-alcoholic beverage, no larger than 20 oz.
  • Frozen water bottles are prohibited for safety purposes.

Left Field Pavilion

Located just beyond the left field fence, the Left Field Pavilion offers a casual, social setting for individuals or groups with seats at drink rails or at four-seat bistro tables facing the field. Single-game tickets in this section start as low as $19 and are available by calling (941) 893-6312 or online at Orioles.com/Spring.

Lost and Found

Lost and found items should be taken to the Fan Assistance Center. Fans inquiring about lost items should visit the Fan Assistance Center during games or call the Orioles at (941) 893-6300.

Lost Parents/Found Children

Children who cannot find their parents, as well as parents looking for their children, should go to the Fan Assistance Center.

Official Game

A game is official after 4 1/2 innings have been completed, or 5 innings if the Orioles are behind at the time. If a game is postponed prior to being an official game, fans should hold on to their ticket stub. Details regarding refunds will be announced through the media at a later date.

Oriole Bird, Team Mascot

Since 1979, the Oriole Bird, also known as The Bird, has been entertaining fans of all ages at games as well as making appearances throughout the community. The Bird is now available to make year-round appearances outside of the Mid-Atlantic. Orioles Official Team Store

Shop for the latest officially-licensed Orioles gear, Spring Training merchandise, team memorabilia, and more at the Orioles Official Team Store, located just inside the home plate entrance of the ballpark. For questions and current hours of operation, please call (941) 893-6300. You must have a game ticket to enter the team store on game days.

Parking

Parking is available in several lots surrounding the Ed Smith Stadium complex. More than 1,800 spaces are available on site. Parking is $12 per vehicle and must be paid by credit card. No cash will be accepted.

R

Radios/Televisions

Single-speaker radios and hand-held televisions are permitted in the ballpark as long as they do not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game.

Raffle

Fans will have the opportunity to strengthen the community, empower the youth and try to hit the jackpot at Ed Smith Stadium. The Orioles will hold a 50/50 Raffle at each Spring Training home game to benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation and the Ted Williams Foundation. Learn More

Rainouts

In the event that a game is officially postponed due to rain, tickets for that game will be considered rain checks. Rainout policies vary based on the situation. A policy will be announced after the game is officially postponed. Any game suspended after five innings (or 4 1/2 innings if the Orioles are ahead) is considered a complete game. Suspended game tickets cannot be exchanged. Complimentary ($0.00 value) tickets are not exchangeable. Following a rainout, that game's policy and other relevant information will be posted at Orioles.com/Spring.

Re-Entry Policy

Per Major League Baseball regulations, fans will not be permitted to re-enter the ballpark once they leave. Only emergency situations for exiting the ballpark with re-entry permission can be granted by the Director of Florida Operations. Fans requesting to leave the ballpark with re-entry permission should be directed to the Fan Assistance Center.

Restrooms

Spacious restrooms are located on all levels throughout the ballpark. Changing tables are available in most men's and women's restrooms. A Family Restroom and Waiting Area is also available and is located behind Section 114.

Scoreboard Surprises

Fans may recognize a special person's birthday or anniversary on the HD video board at Ed Smith Stadium by making arrangements at least 24 hours in advance of a game. Fans can call (941) 893-6300 or visit the Orioles Ticket Office to make advance reservations, which must be accompanied by a minimum $20 donation to the Baltimore Orioles Charitable Foundation.

Security Procedures

Metal detectors are present at all ballpark entrances.

No umbrellas, hard-sided coolers, thermoses, glass bottles, cans, or alcoholic beverages are permitted into the ballpark. You must leave these items in your vehicle before entering the ballpark.

Bags are prohibited in Ed Smith Stadium, with the exception of medically necessary items including diaper bags. Patrons with these bags must enter the ballpark through specified ADA entry lanes. Clutch purses no larger than 5" x 7" will be allowed. Patrons with clutch purses can enter through any entry lane.

No containers or unauthorized items can be left at any park entrance. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle.

No re-entry will be permitted. Once you enter the ballpark, you will not be permitted to leave and re-enter the facility. Please make sure you have everything you need with you before entering the ballpark.

Senior Stroll

Following select home games all fans 60 and over are invited to stroll the bases like their favorite Orioles Players, presented by Sunways Senior Living Concierge.

Seniors can begin lining up at the top of the 9th inning in the right field picnic area. Seniors will be escorted on and off the field by ushers.

Smoking Policy

Ed Smith Stadium is a smoke-free facility and smoking inside the stadium is prohibited. Fans are prohibited from re-entering the stadium if they wish to exit the facility to smoke. Electronic cigarettes are also prohibited.

Shaded Seating

Shade seating at Ed Smith Stadium is located on the third base side in sections 215-223 (rows 10 and above), also first base side sections 203-211 (rows 8 and above).

Strollers

Strollers are permitted but they must fit under your assigned seat(s) or be left at the Fan Assistance Center. Strollers cannot be left in walkways or aisles.

Tailgating

Tailgating is not permitted on Oriolesā€™ parking lots around the ballpark.

Third Base Lounge

Located along the third base side on the ballparkā€™s second level, the Third Base Lounge offers a dynamic view of the action and offers fans access to a climate-controlled bar, as well as premium outdoor seating. Tickets

Tickets for regular season home games can be purchased online at Orioles.com/Tickets. Children two years of age and younger do not require a ticket. Contactless digital tickets are required at Oriole Park. Tickets should be saved on your mobile device through the MLB Ballpark app prior to entry for a quick and easy entrance.

U

Umbrellas

For the safety and overall experience of all fans, umbrellas are not permitted inside Ed Smith Stadium. They cannot be checked at the ballpark entrance gates, so fans are advised to leave umbrellas in their vehicles.

W

Wheelchair Service

Wheelchairs, donated by Sarasota Memorial Hospital, are available to assist fans getting to and from their seats. Anyone needing wheelchair service should visit the Fan Assistance Center located behind home plate (behind Section 112).

Will Call

Will Call can be found at the left field gate; however, it is recommended to use our MLB Ballpark app for digital tickets.

World Series Suites

Located on the ballpark's second level on the first base side, three World Series Suites offer breath-taking views of the game from a climate-controlled setting. Each suite - World Series Suite 66, Suite 70, and Suite 83 - celebrates one of the Orioles' World Championship teams and offers up to 30 guests a flexible menu in a sophisticated, modern atmosphere, including both indoor and outdoor seating.
