FOOD AND BEVERAGE / GATE POLICY

Major League Baseball and the Pirates are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for fans attending games at PNC Park.

Please note: these policies are for Pirates games only. Concerts and other special events at PNC Park may have different policies and are subject to change.

GATE OPENING TIMES

Gates will open one and one-half (1 ½) hours for all start times excluding 6:40 p.m. games where gates will only open one (1) hour before game time Monday-Thursday and one and one-half (1 ½) hours Friday-Saturday. The Home Plate Club will open two (2) hours prior to game time.

SECURITY SCREENING

Each Guest is permitted to bring one bag into the ballpark (purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.) provided that the bag is soft-sided and 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller. Bags exceeding these dimensions will not be permitted inside the ballpark. All bags are subject to search.

In an effort to ensure the safety of those entering the ballpark, all guests entering PNC Park will be asked to enter through a security screening. Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early to allow for the security measures at PNC Park. When approaching the walk-through security screening, please remove cell phones, cameras and other large metal objects. Please do not remove any jackets, belts, coins, keys, wallets, watches, or other objects of similar size.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY

Guests are permitted to bring bottled water and food. Water bottles should not exceed 24 ounces in size, and must be clear, plastic, sealed and disposable. Children's juice boxes and items necessary for medical purposes are permitted. Alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, cans, glass bottles and thermoses (including but not limited to: YETI, and other types of metal insulated items) are not allowed.

Outside food and beverage is not permitted entry into the Homeplate Club, Suite Level or the Left Field Lounge & Porch areas.

OTHER ITEMS

For the comfort and security of all Guests, hazardous or disruptive items cannot be brought into PNC Park. Samples of these items that are not permitted include Bluetooth speakers, inflatable balls, hoverboards, balloons, motorcycle helmets, frisbee discs, drones, laser pointers, fireworks and footballs. Weapons and other dangerous or hazardous items are not permitted in PNC Park. The Pirates reserve the right to inspect and remove any packages and/or containers.
