Gates will open one and one-half (1 1/2) hours for all start times excluding 6:35 p.m. games where gates will only open one (1) hour before game time. The Home Plate Club will open two (2) hours prior to game time.
The policies below apply to regular season Pittsburgh Pirates home games only, and may be changed for other events held at PNC Park.
Bags will not be permitted at entry to PNC Park, except for bags used exclusively for medical equipment or diaper bags for the care or infants and toddlers. Guests will still be permitted to bring a clutch purse into PNC Park, provided they are 8” x 5” x 1” or smaller.
All medical bags, diaper bags and clutch purses are subject to search and will be marked with a daily pass.
In an effort to ensure the safety of those entering the ballpark, all guests entering PNC Park will be asked to enter through upright metal detectors. Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early to allow for the security measures at PNC Park. When approaching the walk-through metal detectors, please remove cell phones, cameras and other large metal objects. Please do not remove any jackets, belts, coins, keys, wallets, watches, or other objects of similar size.
Guests are permitted to bring bottled water and food. Water bottles should not exceed 24 ounces in size, and must be clear, plastic, sealed and disposable. Children's juice boxes and items necessary for medical purposes are permitted. Alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, cans, glass bottles and thermoses (including but not limited to: YETI, and other types of metal insulated items) are not allowed.
Outside food and beverage is not permitted entry into the Homeplate Club, Suite Level or the Jim Beam Left Field Lounge & Jim Beam Porch areas.
For the comfort and security of all Guests, hazardous or disruptive items cannot be brought into PNC Park. Samples of these items that are not permitted include Bluetooth speakers, inflatable balls, hoverboards, balloons, motorcycle helmets, frisbee discs, drones, laser pointers, fireworks and footballs. Weapons and other dangerous or hazardous items are not permitted in PNC Park. The Pirates reserve the right to inspect and remove any packages and/or containers.
