In his first year in the Orioles organization began the season at Triple-A Ottawa ... Was recalled by the Orioles on 6/3 and spent 10 days at the Major League level where he appeared in seven games ... Started three games for BAL, including a 2-for-4 game at DET on 6/5 where he scored once and had one RBI ... Optioned to Ottawa on 6/13 where he hit just .222 in June and .240 in July before joining Double-A Bowie ... Made four errors with Ottawa appearing at all three outfield positions and one game at second base ... Had a nine-game hitting streak at Bowie (8/11-19) in which he batted .294 (10-for-34) ... Played in 18 games in centerfield for Bowie and 22 games in right. Also was the DH once and pinch ran in one game.
2004
Began the season with Texas, but was optioned to Oklahoma (AAA) in late April and spent remainder of the year with the RedHawks.
