Went 3-2 with a 5.81 ERA (26.1 IP - 17 ER) and 29 strikeouts in six starts for Double-A Rocket City this season and held batters to a .163 (15/92) average...Had contract selected by the Angels May 26, and made Major League debut in relief that night against Miami...Notched first Major League win June 12 at Texas after pitching two scoreless innings out of the bullpen...Locked down first professional save June 16 at Kansas City with two perfect innings of relief...Had 12-inning scoreless streak across eight games from May 26 - June 23...Placed on injured list with right shoulder inflammation July 14 (retro to July 11) and missed rest of season.

Spent entire season with Double-A Rocket City and began year on injured list (back spasms)... Made season debut May 6 and was unscored upon in each of first three starts for Trash Pandas (11 IP), while allowing five total hits and four walks with six strikeouts... Exited start on May 27 (Game 2) vs. Tennessee after 2.2 innings and returned to IL (back spasms) until his return July 23... Following return from IL, allowed three-or-fewer earned runs in six of eight starts to finish season... In final start of year, Sept. 14 vs. Birmingham, earned first professional win and recorded a season-high five strikeouts.
